Privacy policy

Final Forestry is a CRM for forestry mulching and land clearing businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and app, our public lead forms and proposal pages, and the emails we send.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and organization details. Sign-in codes are sent to your email; we never see or store a password.

Business data you store

The contacts, companies, leads, proposals, projects, notes, and other records your team adds to the CRM. This data belongs to you. We access it only to run the service, to troubleshoot a problem you report, or as required by law.

Information from your customers

When someone submits one of your public lead forms or responds to a proposal you sent, we collect what they enter (such as name, contact details, and job information) on your behalf and store it in your account. You are responsible for handling that information in line with your own obligations to your customers.

Usage and device information

We collect standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) and product usage events to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and understand which features are helpful.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• Send transactional email (sign-in codes, proposals, review requests, and notifications you or your team trigger).
• Send occasional product updates and onboarding emails. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.
• Process subscription payments.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

AI features

Some features use AI models to help you work faster, for example drafting a lead from a pasted email or answering questions about your records in chat. When you use these features, the relevant text and records are sent to our AI model providers to generate the response. We do not allow providers to use your data to train their models.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of vendors to run Final Forestry, and we share only what each one needs to do its job:

• Hosting and databases (Vercel, Supabase)
• Payments (Stripe; we never store your card details)
• Email delivery (Resend)
• Product analytics (PostHog)
• AI model providers for the features described above

If you connect an optional integration (such as Telegram alerts or Facebook Lead Ads), we exchange the data needed to make that integration work with the provider you connected. Disconnecting the integration stops that exchange.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete a record, an organization, or your account, we remove it from the live service and it ages out of backups on a rolling basis. To request deletion of your account and data, email us at the address below.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to your organization's records is restricted to members of your organization, enforced at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least access and review our practices regularly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update most information directly in the app, and we will honor verified requests for the rest. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Final Forestry is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
